Halo 3

So, it was Halo 3 launch day yesterday. You may remeber I preordered it in January. There was a little mix-up, in that the monkey who took the order didn’t mark it as “Legendary”, so the manager pulled a few strings to get another one to his store.

We got to the shop just before the opening time of 10pm, yet we were still 8th in the line. They issue raffle tickets to keep it neat, in order of arrival. Midnight rolled around, and we received out package in an orderly fashion.

Unboxing

Opening the box. It was quite a large box.

Niccce

The helmet on its stand. Niccceee.

Happy Geek

Happy Geek!!

Doh!

Try as I might tho, it just wouldn’t go on.

Pride of place

It’ll just have to sit on the TV, flanked by the Master Chief and The Arbiter

The bonus disc is great. 136 minutes of remastered Halo and Halo 2 cutscenes… with director’s commentaries. All sorts of behind-the-scenes videos, Xbox theme packs, gamer pics, etc.

All-in-all, very nice indeed :)

Don’t skip ahead…

The 48-year-old Department of Defence employee lost his hand and suffered leg injuries in an explosion at an army training facility in Graytown, north of Melbourne, on Wednesday.

Wait until the instructor is done, then follow the steps.

I needed photo ID.

iPod Touch

Now, is there a PDA with an established OS and open source support that compares? Would it be as easy to buy/store/sync tunes to a PDA? If it had 8gb, would it matter? Is it worth it to have a just a re-invented PDA?
