This sounds good to me. The new iPhone will be 3G, and Vodafone have some pretty good deals on data packages. I am hoping they are generous with plans and actually give you a couple of Gb per month with the access.
From the article:
Vodafone has scored the right to sell the Apple iPhone within Australia, and nine other countries.
It was announced today that the global telco had secured the rights to sell the iPhone in Australia, as well as in New Zealand, South Africa and India.
Telstra was previously believed to have been the frontrunner for the iPhone contract.
Vodafone is expected to sell the new 3G based iPhone, speculated to be available after June.
