My darling wife and I went off too the movies today. Saw two of them. First Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, then Ironman.
In short, Ironman is the better movie. Heaps better. Oh, and if you’re interested, stay for end of Ironman’s credits, don’t bother for Indy. And that’s the least of it.
More, possibly including spoilers, after this…
First, Indy.
Maybe it was just me, but a little too much was a little too obvious. The soldiers, the plot, the ending.
There were some good moments, great moments actually, a lot of torch-passing moments it seemed.
In general, it was a good movie, but if you haven’t seen it at the movies, don’t rush out.
Now, Ironman.
A whole lot better than I thought it would be, and a whole lot better than Indy. It was really, really good.
Not much of a review, I know, but if there’s a movie you’ll pay 15 bucks to see, make it this one.
Now, the other thing I saw was the trailer for Get Smart. The trailer made my cry with laughter. Maybe the cinema is not the place for me to see this movie. I may actually wet myself. Not good in public.
